Prof Dr.L.K.Hema,HOD/ECE delivered the Welcome address and Mr.A.Subbiah, Asst. Professor Gr II/BME, introduced the chief guest. The chief guest Dr.R.Narayanan, Associate Professor, School of Mechanical Engineering, VIT, Chennai, delivered the guest lecture on Bio-Implants. He presented about the biomaterials, characteristics of biomaterials. He has highlighted about the role of biomaterials in artificial organs and applications of biomaterials in medical field. Students from II Year, III Year and IV BME have participated in this Guest Lecture. This guest lecture was coordinated by Ms.R.Indumathi, Asst. Professor Gr II/BME and Mr.A.Subbiah, Asst.
