Prof Dr.M.Ravindiran, HOD/BME delivered the Welcome address, Mr.A.Subbiah, Asst. Professor Gr II/BME, introduced the chief guest. The chief guest Mr.K.Venkatraman, Managing Partner-Technical, Bio vision Medical systems, Chennai, handled workshop on Sensors in Medicine. Students from II Year BME, III Year BME and IV Year BME have participated in this workshop. Mr.K.Venkatraman highlighted about the basics of Sensors, Importance of Sensors in Medicine. He explained about different types of sensors used and recent advancement in Bio sensors in medical field. He has given hands on training in Identification of various Biosensors. Ms.R. Indumathi, Asst. Professor Gr II/BME proposed a vote of thanks. This programme was coordinated by Ms.R.Indumathi, Asst. Professor Gr II/BME and Mr.A.Subbiah, Asst. Professor Gr II/BME.
