Programmes leading to the award of the Ph.D Degree is available in various disciplines. Candidates can register themselves as:

1. Full Time internal


2. Part Time internal


3. Part Time External

Categories of Ph.D Candidates

There shall be three categories of Ph.D Candidates:

(i) Full-time

(ii) Part-time Internal and

(iii) Part-time External.

1) Full-time Candidates: Ph.D candidates who pursue full-time doctoral work in the University shall belong to this category.

2) Part-time External Candidates: Ph.D candidates working in Industries, Colleges, Govt. Departments or Research Organisations recognized by this University, shall belong to this category. These candidates should spend at least 4 months (that is, one semester) in the University during the programme.

3) Part-time Internal Candidates: Ph.D candidates who are regular faculty members of this University belong to this category.
