Dr. Giri Rengasami obtained her Ph.D. from The Centre for Environmental Studies at Anna University, Guindy. She has about 40 years of experience in academics and has served as Professor, Head of the Department, Registrar, Vice Principal and Principal-In-Charge of the Evening College (self finance section) in the Women’s Christian College, Chennai.

Currently as a Senior Educationist, she delivers programmes on Doordarshan and other television channels.  She also renders popular Dentures on different themes including Biotechnology in various educational institutions.  She has visited the U.S., Australia, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong in this capacity.
